Hemp Seed Oil Facts
Hemp seed oil, often confused with hemp oil is actually a cold-pressed oil made with only the seeds of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa). An important note to make is that this oil always contains less than 0.3% THC, and typically contains literally no THC so it does not provide an intoxicating effect. Hemp seed oil is not the same as CBD oil, which is derived from the stalks, leaves and flowers of the plant. With our hemp seed oil tinctures, you can experience the health benefits of the entire plant from seed to flower incorporating nutricious hemp seed oil plus CBD hemp oil extract combined to create an extremely whole, and synergistic product.
Fatty Acids Profile
Even though the seeds of the hemp plant lack cannabinoids like the grown plant they harness a variety of other compounds such as nutrients and fatty acids. Hemp seed oil is primarily made up of 70-80% polyunsaturated fats and only 9-10% of the less desiraable saturated fatty acids, and considered to be the most unsaturated fatty oil in the whole plant kingdom. Hemp seed oil contains fatty acids known as EFAs (essential fatty acids) which are required for optimal health and life just in general however the body does not create them, with eaten food or supplementation being the only source to obtain them. Most North Americans are deficient in EFAs due to the lack of proper diet, consuming more processed foods than ever vs. eating a ntural balanced organic diet.
Coined "Natures most perfectly balanced oil", hemp seed oil contains a seemingly perfect 3:1 ratio of Omega-6 linoleic acids to Omega-3 alpha-linoleic acids. Unfortunately most modern diets have an average of a 12:1 to 25:1 ratio of these fatty acids, requiring a supplement be taken or lifestyle change addressed. These are not the only fatty acids present in the oil as well, containing three other important polyunsaturated fatty acids including Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), stearidonic acid, and oleic acid. Many illnesses can be attributed and/or linked back to fatty acid deficiencies, backed by enormous medical studies on the subject. People that eat a well balanced ratio of fatty acids tend to be healther including having notably more healthier skin and a stronger immune system.
The Ongoing List Of Hemp Seed Oil and CBD Oil Benefits
When taken internally, hemp seed oil and CBD oil go to work producing noticeable, anti-inflammatory and health boosting benefits. As time goes on, more studies are showing very promising effects of both of these oils. Hemp seed oil has been well documented and has been shown to have positive effects on brain health, heart health and skin health. Your brain requires healthy fats to operate to its fullest potential and the Omega 3 alpha-linoleic acid directly feeds the brain for optimum performance. A recent study in mice showed that hemp seed oil tends to reduce inflammation in the brain, partly due to the oil containing polyphenols, which eliminate free radicals that cause damage. Although promising, scientists still need to test this theory in humans.
Heart health is another major factor that hemp seed oil can possibly help with. Studies have shown that the nutrient profile of hemp seed oil can possibly help lower LDL cholesterol levels and promote lower, more regulated blood pressure. It also can possibly improve cardiovascular circulation which would attribute to better overall organ functions according to this medical study.
The second major part of our hemp seed oil tincture is what all the craze is about, full-spectrum CBD oil. The list of health benefits this organic extract can provide is evergrowing with new studies being carried out every day. Scientists and doctors are realizing that CBD (cannabidiol) is a very potent anti-inflammatory compound. Most modern diseases and auto-immune diseases can be attributed to inflammation, and if you reduce inflammation in the body you attack your health problems at the root core of the cause. When a person wants to heal holistically, they are starting turn to CBD oil, a 100% all natural molecule found in nature rather than using synthetic over-the-counter or prescription medications for a variety of ailments. Liposomal and Nanoemulsified CBD
Our CBD tinctures developed at Phoria's private laboratories are one-of-a-kind and undergo rigorous manufacturing and testing processes. Our hemp seed oil tincture consists of only two ingredients, cold-pressed organic hemp seed oil and CBD oil extract. Consisting of all oil based ingredients our tincture is considered liposomal. This means that a good number of the nutrients and compounds contained in the oils are surrounded by a fat, thus allowing the ingested tincture to travel past the stomach, where a lot of medication can be destroyed by harmful hydrochloric acid and absorbed by the gut directly into the bloodstream. We focus heavily on bioavailability, or the ability to properly absorb all the nutrients in our tinctures. This is why we treat them with nano-emulsifying technology. Ultra-sonic waves are produced inside the tincture, resulting in a format that is more bioavailable to the human body, delivering biologically active substances intracellularly and directly to the lymphatic circulation. Our tinctures on average are 5-10 times more bio-available than most of the other brands on the market so please do your research before buying an alternative brand of CBD oil.
